Compassion Taking Action: May 2026

Hello everyone

Down here in the Southern Hemisphere, we are officially in flu season. Both homes have been battling sickness from mid-May until now. After numerous visits to the doctor and a short hospitalization for one of the kiddos, we seem to be on the mend. However, we seem to be particularly susceptible to multiple rounds of sickness; please continue to pray for health for both the kids and the caregivers. Thankfully, we received a very generous gift from a local church. One member purchased a heater and humidifier for each bedroom in both homes. The church also ran a drive for winter clothes and blankets. South Africa's winters are short, but the nights can get very cold. We are very thankful that we were able to keep the kids extra warm while they battled the flu.
