February Update on the Baby Homes

Hello everyone Along with this month's update and prayer requests, I would like to share a praise. One of the children in our care is with DSD (the government's social work department) and has been without a caseworker for nearly a year and a half. As a result, ZERO progress has been made on their case since 2024. Then, on Monday, after emailing, then calling, then calling and emailing for months on end, they finally assigned a caseworker! Please be praying that this caseworker will be faithful and skilled in their work. Pray that we can find this child a forever home very soon. Finally, I want to brag on my wife for a minute. Kerry was so faithful in pursuing the government department week after week. Even though the non-responses and often broken promises to "call you back later today" were VERY frustrating, Kerry always kept her calm on the phone and in her emails. Instead of letting the frustration lead to anger or discuragement she just kept knocking on the door. This week, God opened the door. There are still dozens and dozens of doors that need to be opened for our kiddos. Please keep praying with us that God would open these doors soon and that we would trust in his timing.
